Considering contacting one to take action today!

Blessed Tomorrow

Blessed Tomorrow is a coalition of diverse religious partners united as faithful stewards of creation. Together, they inspire communities to take action today on one of the greatest moral challenges of our era — protecting our shared home.

Their website explains, "We are compelled by a higher power to act on our responsibility to serve one another, future generations, and the most vulnerable as we witness the impacts of climate change within our neighborhoods and throughout the world. We will be stewards of God’s creation, empower our communities, and call on fellow leaders to create a healthy future for us all."

Interfaith Power and Light

Interfaith Power & Light is mobilizing a religious response to global warming. The mission of Interfaith Power & Light is to be faithful stewards of Creation by responding to global warming through the promotion of energy conservation, energy efficiency, and renewable energy.

This campaign intends to protect the earth’s ecosystems, safeguard the health of all Creation, and ensure sufficient, sustainable energy for all. Since the year 2000, IPL has helped thousands of congregations address global warming by being better stewards of energy.

Poor People's Campaign

The Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival is uniting tens of thousands of people across the country to challenge the evils of systemic racism, poverty, the war economy, ecological devastation and the nation’s distorted morality.

350.org uses grassroots organizing, online campaigns, and mass public actions to oppose new coal, oil and gas projects, take money out of the companies that are heating up the planet, and build 100% clean energy solutions that work for all. 350's network extends to 188 countries.

Sierra Club

Founded by legendary conservationist John Muir in 1892, the Sierra Club is the nation's largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization -- with three million members and supporters. Their successes range from protecting millions of acres of wilderness to helping pass the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Endangered Species Act. More recently, they've made history by leading the charge to move away from the dirty fossil fuels that cause climate disruption and toward a clean energy economy.

GreenFaith is an interfaith coalition for the environment.  They work with houses of worship, religious schools and people of all faiths to help them become better environmental stewards.

GreenFaith believes in addressing environmental issues holistically, and is committed to being a one-stop shop for the resources and tools religious institutions need to engage environmental issues and become religious-environmental leaders.
